This selection of works from the Per Amor a l'Art Collection offers a journey through the history of photography and documentary style. Since the 1930s, this manner of representing the purest and most transparent form of reality has evolved to become a part of artistic photography, moving towards a series of conceptual works that revisit the idea of the archive. Within this context, Sculpting Reality, co-published with Bombas Gens Art Center, brings together the various perspectives of pivotal artists, who not only aspire to reflect reality but ruminate on its authenticity, the way it is staged and the concept of seriality in art.
